Licensure Details

The Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education has approved the C&I Elementary Education Generalist Online Master’s degree program to lead to Professional teaching licensure if you currently hold a Massachusetts Initial Elementary Education (1-6) teaching license.

If you do not hold a current Massachusetts Initial Elementary Education (1-6) teaching license and you are enrolling in the C&I Elementary Education Generalist Online Master’s degree program, your program will NOT lead to an Initial or Professional teaching license or any other endorsement from Lesley University for licensure.

Program completion may lead to endorsement in other states. It is your responsibility to understand and comply with the licensure requirements for the state in which you seek to be licensed.
